Finding the right accessory
Accessories each help with one part of your session: packing the bowl, managing heat, keeping a good seal, or smoking more comfortably. If you already know the type you need, the shortcuts below take you straight to it.
Heat and foil
You can cover a packed bowl with foil or use a heat management device instead. Foil comes as pre-poked rounds, thick single sheets or long rolls you cut to size; Starbuzz rounds and MG rolls are two examples. A poker or a hole puncher, such as the Sahara Smoke one, makes the holes. Browse all foil.
A heat management device sits over the bowl in place of foil and holds your coals. They vary in material and in how many coals they take; for example the Kaloud Lotus 1+ takes three standard cubes, and the Starbuzz NAR has a built-in thermometer. Compare them under heat management devices.
Seals, valves and spare parts
Small parts make a big difference to the draw. Silicone grommets stop air leaks around the bowl, hose and base, and you will find them in grommets and seals. Replacement valve balls keep your purge working; measure the old one so you pick the right size.
Mouthpieces, tools and care
Mouthpieces differ in length, material and fit. Do I need foil if I use a heat management device?
No. A heat management device sits over the bowl and holds the coals, so it takes the place of foil.
How do I find the right valve ball size?
Measure your old ball or check your shisha's details. Valve balls are sized in millimetres, for example 10mm or 12mm.
Will a universal grommet fit my shisha?
Many grommets are made to suit most bowls or bases, but some are for one model only. Check the opening size or model named in the product details.
