Choosing your Stone bowl

Every Stone bowl is glazed by hand, so the one you receive is its own piece. Beyond the look, the models differ in what they are built for and what comes with them.

The model lines

• Stone Fit: a lipped bowl made for heat management devices like the Kaloud Lotus. Each is a limited edition, made on the pottery wheel and stamped with the maker's signature. Glazes have names such as Reptile or Green Tea.
• Speed Bowl: sold in sets. Lite is the bowl, a grommet and a tray. Pro swaps the tray for an AOT heat management system. Max is the Pro set plus aluminium foil and 1kg of coconut charcoal.
• Magnum: the Stone Hookah Bowl Magnum, in hand-painted finishes such as Royal Blue Top or Grey Virus.

Matching the bowl to your heat

If you already own a Lotus-style device, a Stone Fit is the natural pick. If you are starting from scratch, a Speed Bowl Pro or Max set gives you the bowl and its heat system together. With the Lite set you add your own heat: a heat management device or foil and coals.

Looking after a glazed bowl

Let the bowl cool fully before you wash it, and rinse it in warm water rather than putting it under cold water while hot. A soft brush is enough to clear old tobacco from the holes.

What is the difference between Speed Bowl Lite, Pro and Max?

Lite comes with a tray, Pro comes with an AOT heat management system instead, and Max is the Pro set plus foil and 1kg of coconut charcoal. Every set includes the bowl and a grommet.

Will the colour match the photo exactly?

Each glaze is applied by hand, so expect small differences from one bowl to the next.
