German Shishas

What to look for in a German-style shisha

German-style shishas share an approach: precise parts, stainless steel or glass, and clever details such as click systems and ground joints. Some are made in Germany, such as the Aeon Edition 6; others, like Wookah from Poland, share the style.

One hose or several?

If you smoke with friends, look for a multi-hose model. The Aeon Edition 6 Premium Plus and Steamulation Ultimate Gen. III, for example, are 4-hose models, and the Ultimate Gen. III adds a Cooling Purge at the push of a button. For solo sessions, a one-hose model such as the Aeon Edition 6 Lounge Plus keeps things simple.

Wood, steel or glass?

  • Wooden bodies: Wookah pairs wood with V2A stainless steel parts and ground joint connections. Its Classic even has a wooden vase, while the Exclusive has polished metal parts and comes in a case.
  • Glass and steel: Dschinni models like the Pico use borosilicate glass with a click system and closed chamber system, while the Stealth Bomber is stainless steel.
  • Design-led: Amotion builds shishas around a theme, such as the cycling look of the Pedal RX with its chainring coal plate.
  • Ready to smoke: some sets arrive with everything, for example the Alite Lounge Hookah with a clay bowl and ONMO heat management device.

Check what each set includes. Some come with a bowl, hose and mouthpiece, while others are the shisha only. Each brand has its own page if you want to see more: Aeon, Steamulation and Wookah.

Questions

Are all German-style shishas made in Germany?

No. German style describes how they are built. Aeon and Steamulation are German-made, while Wookah is made in Poland.

What should I pick for a group?

Look for a multi-hose model. The Aeon Edition 6 Premium Plus and Steamulation Ultimate Gen. III are 4-hose models, so up to four people can smoke at once.
