Getting to know Quasar

Quasar's range is built around heat. Its thermal heads combine the bowl and the heating system in one piece, and its hookahs and mouthpieces are designed to go with them. Most shoppers start by choosing a head, then decide whether they want a Quasar pipe to match.

Thermal heads

• Raas 2: borosilicate glass, silicone and aluminium, with a raised lid so you can use any type of charcoal. The bowl holds 18 to 25g. It also comes in a Black Edition.
• Petit Raas 2: a smaller version with a narrower bowl holding 12.5 to 15g, made for a session on a single cube of charcoal. It keeps Quasar's double-wall thermal system.
• Raas x Social Smoke: made with the tobacco brand Social Smoke, pairing a very thick borosilicate glass bowl with a heating system Quasar call an oven.

If the glass on your head breaks, the Quasar Raas Replacement Glass Bowl fits the Raas, Raas 2 and Raas 2 Black Hole. It is the glass only, so keep your lid.

Hookahs and mouthpieces

The Quasar Arguilé has a twin-downstem design made to work with the Raas 2, with a stainless steel smoke path. Versions include the Lounge Edition, which comes with a silicone hose and mouthpiece, and the Black Edition in A380 aluminium and stainless steel. The Jabed mouthpieces have a hexagonal flat tip and a streaked grip, and the Jabed 2 adds a rotating system so the hose turns freely.

Sets

Questions

Should I choose the Raas 2 or the Petit Raas 2?

The Raas 2 takes 18 to 25g of shisha for longer, fuller sessions. The Petit Raas 2 holds 12.5 to 15g and is made to run on a single cube of charcoal.

Does the replacement glass bowl include a lid?

No. It is the borosilicate glass bowl only, made for the Raas, Raas 2 and Raas 2 Black Hole.

Does the Arguilé need a Quasar head?

It is designed to work hand in hand with the Raas 2, but the head is a separate choice, so check what each listing includes.
