Getting to know Maxx Hookah

Maxx Hookah makes a full setup: the hookah, heat management devices, bowls and bases designed to work together. Maxx bowls are made to fit the Maxx Royal, so the pieces work well as a set.

The hookah

The Maxx Royal Screw System Hookah has a 360-degree twisted airflow system and is made from stainless steel with a titanium coating. It has a tray with a complex shape, a built-in molasses catcher to keep the vase clean and Diamond-style inserts. Finishes include Ruby Black, Ocean Gold and Sealight.

Heat management

• Guard Heat Keeper HMD: stainless steel with a titanium coating. It stops coal and ash getting into the bowl, and a protective lid holds the coals in place. Finishes such as Titan Black and Gold.
• Crown HMD: a stainless steel base with aluminium walls to spread the heat, and a diamond-textured exterior, for example in Diamond Black or Diamond Gold.

Bowls and bases

• Maxx bowls: heat-resistant silicone with a heat removal body and a multi-functional mesh. They hold 16g and fit the Maxx Royal without a silicone gasket, in colours such as Ruby Black and Gold.
• Maxx Wazon V1 Base: thick crystal glass. Maxx describes it as universal, so it works as a replacement or an upgrade on many setups.

Does the Maxx bowl need a gasket on the Maxx Royal?

No. It fits the Maxx Royal without a silicone gasket.

What is the difference between the Guard and the Crown?

The Guard is stainless steel with a titanium coating and a protective lid over the coals. The Crown pairs a stainless steel base with aluminium walls that spread the heat.
