Glass heads have many advantages over conventional clay heads. So too Plato: while clay, which consists of most of the heads, heats up quickly and this heat loses even slowly, glass assumes little to no heat. The heat of the coal is fixed on the tobacco. The tobacco does not burn so quickly, the head is lighter, the head is smokable longer.
