Choosing an OverDozz bowl

OverDozz makes its phunnel bowls by hand in Spain. The clay is chosen to stop your flavour overheating while keeping the heat steady through the session. The models differ in the clay they use and in what they are made to fit.

The model lines

• G2-B Black Clay: half glazed, in a special black clay that is very hard-wearing, which can help it survive the odd knock. Finishes include Space, Lava and Emerald.
• G2-W White Clay: glazed white clay, in colours such as Maroon Red, Violet or Green/Yellow.
• G1: glazed white clay made to fit the Starbuzz NAR heat management device, in colourways like Burgundy over White Clay.

Packing a phunnel

A phunnel bowl has one raised centre hole, so pack your shisha around it rather than over it. Fluff the tobacco in loosely, leave a little space below the rim, and give the bowl a few minutes to warm up before you start. Because each bowl is handmade, its shape and colour may differ slightly from the photo.

A spare grommet helps the bowl sit firmly on your stem. OverDozz also makes shisha flavours if you want to try the brand in the bowl too.

What is the difference between the G2-B and G2-W?
