Which MG shisha suits you?

MG makes shishas that come complete, so you can unbox one and only need to add coals before your first session. The models mostly differ in the bowl that comes with them and in how they draw.

MG's model lines

• MG Hookah Chrome Edition: a full kit with base, silicone bowl, hose, mouth tip and tongs. Chrome finishes include colours such as Gunmetal, Blue and Gold.
• MG Junior 1.0 Hookah: a medium-sized shisha that comes with a clay bowl, plus base, hose, mouth tip and tongs, in a choice of colours.
• MG Mantis Hookah: an invisible purge port and a built-in diffuser for a smooth draw. Its parts are CNC-cut stainless steel, and the silicone head and metal handle match the colour of the stem.

Clay or silicone bowl?

Silicone is easy to clean and does not crack if you knock it. Clay is the traditional choice and holds heat well. The Chrome Edition and Junior 1.0 both have one hose port and a universal bowl connection, so you can try the other type of bowl later.

Before your first session

You will still need coals. Natural coconut coal is the usual pick, used with foil or a heat management device on the bowl. Light the coals fully before they go on, and give the bowl a few minutes to heat through.

Do MG shishas come with a bowl?

The Chrome Edition comes with a silicone bowl and the Junior 1.0 with a clay bowl. Both also include a hose, mouth tip and tongs.

Can I use a different bowl on an MG?

Yes, on the Chrome Edition and Junior 1.0. Their universal bowl connection takes standard bowls.
