New Arrivals

Finding your way round new arrivals

New arrivals mix every kind of product: hookahs, coals, bowls, and the small tools and spares that make a session easier. The quickest way through is to decide what you need first, then check it works with what you already own.

New hookahs

Compare height, how it goes together and what comes in the box. Heights vary a lot: the El-Badia C5 V2, for example, stands 41cm, while the MS Magma Titan reaches 66cm. Look for features such as a click-lock base, a removable or reversible diffuser, or a concealed purge. Some hookahs come ready to use with a hose and bowl, while others, such as the MS Magma Giga, leave the bowl out, so read the contents before you choose.

Coals and heat

Charcoal is listed by cube size, for example Narine in 25mm and 26mm, often with larger lounge packs for heavy use. A device such as the HKY Heat Management Device sits on your bowl in place of foil. Compare more cubes in coconut coal and more devices in heat management devices.

Bowls, spares and tools

  • Bowls: check the fit. Some, like the Hooky Head, fit most hookahs without a grommet; others, such as the XKAH Replacement Bowl 2-Pack, are made for one device.
  • Spares: parts such as Wookah valve grommets or a replacement battery are made for named models, so make sure the product lists yours.
  • Tools and care: for example an ash vacuum like the COALCATCHER, a work board with a poker, or a cleaning powder.

For everything beyond hookahs, all accessories groups the parts and tools by type.

Questions

Do new hookahs come with a bowl?

It varies by model. Some arrive ready to use with a hose and bowl, while others leave the bowl out, so check the box contents on each product.

How do I know a new spare fits my shisha?

Spares are usually made for named brands and models. Check that the product description lists your model before you buy.

Do I need a grommet for a new bowl?

It depends on the bowl. Some, such as the Hooky Head with its rigid silicone part, fit most hookahs without one, while many clay bowls sit on a grommet.
