Kaloud Hookah

The Kaloud Krysalis line-up

Kaloud's Krysalis hookahs come as complete sets, so the bowl, adapter and heat management device are matched from the start. The main choice is between the Calix and the Eltheria, then the finish and the extras you want around it.

Eltheria or Calix?

  • Krysalis Calix sets: the Calix is Kaloud's portable hookah. A Calix set pairs it with a Krysalis Edition Samsaris Vitria III bowl that fits securely on top, an adapter and the Lotus III heat management device.
  • Krysalis Eltheria sets: the larger set. Along with the Eltheria, the Vitria III bowl, the Kaloud Bowl Adapter and the Lotus III, an Eltheria set adds a Sitra Thermal Diffuser Pack, a Selestia Breathing LED Light and an Aeolis hose.
  • Finishes: Calix and Eltheria sets come in looks such as Black, White and Lucidity. Set contents can differ between finishes, so check the list on each one.

Adding to your Krysalis

  • Selestia Breathing LED Light: made for the Krysalis, it lights up as you take each puff. You set the colour schemes in the Kaloud app.
  • Altaris rotating bases: a turntable, so you can pass the hookah round the table without lifting it. The metal version is made to fit the Eltheria, and the walnut version can hold up to three Selestia LEDs.

If you want to change the look of a Krysalis you already own, see the Kaloud Base range, and for valves, adapters and other parts try Kaloud spares. For the cubes the Lotus III needs, see coconut coal.

Questions

What is the difference between Calix and Eltheria sets?

The Calix is Kaloud's portable hookah, sold with a bowl, adapter and Lotus III. Eltheria sets are built around the larger Eltheria and add extras such as the diffuser pack, the Selestia light and an Aeolis hose.

Do I need foil with the Lotus III?

No. The Lotus III is a heat management device: lit coals go inside it, and it sits over the bowl in place of foil.

Does the Selestia light need an app?

The light works with the Kaloud app, which is where you choose its colour schemes.
