What is the CoalCatcher?
The CoalCatcher is a cordless ash vacuum for shisha coals. You hold it over the bowl and it lifts the ash off the burning coal, so you don't have to blow on the coal or tap the bowl.
Can it be used on hot, burning coal?
Yes, that is what it is made for. The base is stainless steel and the body is automotive-grade ABS plastic, so it does not melt or warp from the heat. An inner grille holds back the embers and a HEPA filter catches the fine dust.
Does it work with my bowl?
Yes. The CoalCatcher is used from above the coal, so it works with any shisha bowl and with heat management devices such as the Kaloud Lotus.
Can it bring used coal back to life?
Yes. A short suction pulse brings used coal back up to temperature in seconds, so you can keep using it instead of throwing it away.
How do I clean the filters?
Tap the filters out and they are ready to use again in under 60 seconds. They can also be rinsed with water.
Are spare filters included?
The CoalCatcher comes with its filter fitted. Spare filters are sold separately as the CoalCatcher HEPA Filter Set.
