Russian-style shishas are steel stems with a narrow bore and a tight draw, and the bowl usually sits on a grommet. The Darkside NEO (0.85 kg stem, 10 mm stem, 11 mm downstem) comes with a D-Glass base and a magnetic hose connector. The Embery Equal (51.5 cm stem, 13 mm) and the El Bomber 24 Hours (47 cm stem, 11 mm) seal to the base with a grommet and are made in Ukraine and Russia.

The Hoob Mars Mini Pro (48 cm, 13 mm) is the one with a threaded base and a universal bowl connection.
