As a collaboration with Mamay Customs we commission 6 pieces of the 'Long Micro Masterpiece'
What makes this different from other Mamay customs? Firstly, the heart is completely stainless steel as opposed to the regular models having plastic hearts. The heart is over double the weight of a regular mamay heart. Because it is completely stainless steel it will smoke better.
The unique feature of the Long Micro Masterpiece is the fact that the upper stem is from a Mamay Coilover Micro model which are generally reserved for mini bases. But with our custom model you will have the benefits of a shorter upper stem, meaning better flavour and a better hit when smoking while being using a full sized base as this has a full sized down stem (a micro down stem will also fit, if you wanted a table top setup).
Finally the custom colour way. We went with the most popular coil over, the space-galaxy and then paired it up with with a venom purple upper stem. Pictures do not this pipe justice!
Mamay Customs will be familiar to most shisha enthusiasts because it is already represented worldwide. The Shisha brand is not only a high-flyer in Russia, but Mamay Customs has also gained popularity in the whole of Europe. This will probably be due to the great concept and the sensational quality of the shisha. The shisha enthuses everyone who is a fan of tuning and Russian shisha. Behind all of this is a Russian company that has gained a lot of experience over the years and this is evident in the product.
Material and design
The hookah is made of stainless steel and plastic components, it also has a hose connection, as usual from Russian hookahs. We come to the base, which has a very interesting design. In addition to the hose connection, it has two other components on the base. First a blow-out valve and then a hose connection, which serves as a hose holder. The mouthpiece fits perfectly into this. Let's get to the material. The shisha has a stainless steel core that is coated with plastic, but that's not all! A strut has been wrapped around the smoke column, known from the auto tuning scene, which means that very interesting color combinations from the Mamay Customs Hookah exist. As usual, you put the shisha into a bowl with a bowl seal.
Charcoal plate and blow-out valve
The standard carbon plate is designed true to the image in a car rim, which rounds off the entire picture of the hookah. In the meantime, there are also other variants, which for example represent a super detailed dandelion or smaller cartoon-like dinosaurs or cats. The coal plate will be sent by chance! Another advantage is that you simply put the coal plate on and do not have to screw it to the head adapter, which makes it easier to dispose of ash. The blow-out valve is placed on the base as mentioned before and allows the smoke to escape all around.
Diffuser and smoking behavior
Not to be forgotten is the diffuser of the Mamay Customs Hookah, which is not permanently integrated, but can simply be unscrewed. As soon as the diffuser is screwed on, the shisha is very pleasant in terms of volume. So it doesn't bother you if you study or work on the side. We come to the more interesting part, namely the smoking behavior! In our eyes, the Mamay Customs Hookah is very different from the other shishas that are known. That means the draft is very pleasant, although we would count it to the somewhat stronger category. However, this also depends in part on whether you have attached the diffuser or not. For most people it will probably be more comfortable to smoke with a diffuser, but it is definitely worth recommending the whole procedure without testing.
