Choosing a Sense Verge bowl

Sense is known for its Verge Phunnel Bowl, made in finishes such as Black, White, Deep Blue and Rustica. Sense heads have a semi-porcelain surface and are fired at 1100°C, so they handle heat well.

How much does it hold?

The Verge's tobacco depot takes 18g to 22g. As a phunnel, it has a raised spout in the middle, so pack around it loosely and keep the tobacco below the rim. The colour you pick changes the look only, so choose the finish that suits your setup.

Heat management

Sense bowls are made for a heat management device rather than foil. Sense suggests the Kaloud Lotus 1+ or a Na Grani device. You will find devices of both kinds under heat management devices.

Which option?

• Lite: bowl, grommet and tray, for when you already own a device.
• Pro: bowl and grommet with the AOT Provost 3.
• Max: bowl, grommet and an AOT device with extras; check the product details for the full contents.
