Kong is a bowl maker from Russia. Its bowls fall into two broad styles, and the choice mostly comes down to how you like to heat your tobacco.
The Kong Mortal Kombat Hookah Bowl is the clearest example. It is clay with 6 holes, a 63mm inner diameter, a 78mm outer diameter and a height of 123mm, and it comes in editions such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero. It suits a heat management device such as the Kaloud Lotus I+, which sits over the bowl instead of foil.
Kong's Turkish bowls have a universal fit for most hookahs. If you use foil, a phunnel bowl is an easy place to start, and you will need aluminium foil to cover the pack.
If you already own a Lotus-style HMD, a multi-hole bowl like the Mortal Kombat is made for it. If you heat with foil and coals, or want a bowl that copes well with juicy tobacco, look at a phunnel such as the Turkish Boy.
Do the Mortal Kombat editions differ in size?
No. The standard, Scorpion and Sub-Zero editions share the same 6-hole design and dimensions; only the look changes.
Can I use foil on a Mortal Kombat bowl?
You can, but Kong describe it as ideal for use with an HMD such as the Kaloud Lotus I+.
