The Dschinni Pico Black Venom Hookah is a stainless steel hybrid shisha from the house of Dschinni, and one of the newest and most technically advanced models in the stainless steel hybrid range.
The Pico is the successor of the well-known Flexx Hybrid series, which gave the shisha market a completely new look. Its systems, such as the click system and the closed chamber system, were far ahead of their time.
As a "Flexx Junior", this hookah has a great legacy, which it builds on with its design and new advances. It combines quality with good value.
The inner skeleton, and so all the important working parts that could corrode, is made of stainless steel. The decorative parts can be made of aluminium because they have little contact with the smoke. This is a big upgrade: you basically own a stainless steel shisha without paying the price of one.
The casing is anodised aluminium, while the inside is made of 304/4301 18/8 stainless steel, a very high grade of stainless steel alloy.
The base is made of high borosilicate glass 3.3, which is also used in laboratories. It is very hard and very heat resistant, which in a shisha means it is sturdy and easy to clean - you can even wash it out with hot water.
The smoke column and the dip tube are attached to the base with a thread, and the rest simply sits on top, so the hookah has very few surfaces that wear. The blow-off valve and the hose adapter both plug straight into the base with a 14.5 cut, which makes old sealing rings unnecessary. Putting it together and taking it apart is easy and fast.
The plate has an 18.8 cut, used for attaching molasses catchers and other decorative accessories with a standard 18.8 cut. The plate can also be lifted off and carried on its own, for example to change the bowl, instead of moving the whole hookah.
Thanks to its size, the base has a small volume, which gives a higher smoke density and the smoking behaviour you want: big, dense clouds. The shape of the base gives a very good laminar flow, so the draw is very open without being unpleasant. The dip tube has no diffuser, but you can add a silicone diffuser to reduce the noise when smoking.
The closed chamber system, which comes from Dschinni, has 2 vertical holes in the base that turn the turbulent flow into a laminar one and let you blow the stale smoke out of the base.
The base is attached with a click fastener, so the shisha is very quick and easy to put together and take apart, which makes cleaning quick and easy too.

Cleaning: the borosilicate glass 3.3 base can be cleaned with boiling water. Pour boiling water into the base, swirl it well and let it rest overnight, then rinse thoroughly the next day to remove any residue. Clean the shisha regularly.
