Aeon Shisha Edition 4 Lounge - Copper Edge (INTENSO)

The INTENSO base are handmade in Germany and differ visually from the regular AEON bases. They are produced in a small edition. The INTENSO base are treated with a patented process.

The original process was developed in cooperation with sommeliers in order to achieve a faster and more rounded development of aromas in the wine. After a test phase, AEON were also able to identify advantages of the Intenso glasses for the perception of smoking. Some flavours can taste a little more rounded, and different types of tobacco can have a more balanced effect. Due to the comparatively short effect time of the smoke in a base, one should not expect that all flavours will appear more effective. Results can also vary depending on setup, tobacco type, and flavour. For example, AEON were able to determine that with some types of tobacco there is no noticeable difference, with others they have noticed a clear difference in taste compared to normal shisha bases.

The new AEON Shisha – Edition 4 is the successor to Edition 3 and has been developed and continuously tested for over a year. The AEON hookahs are made in Germany under the highest quality requirements from V2A stainless steel(1.4305 V2A stainless steel from Switzerland) is produced near Stuttgart and then every component of the AEON Shisha undergoes strict quality control in our warehouse. The production of the hookahs in Germany is carried out with the certification ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and each thread is checked on site for accuracy of fit. The bases of the AEON Shisha are mouth-blown in a complex manual process and then checked for quality in warehouse and glued with a high-quality 2-component adhesive. How does the Edition 4 Lounge differ from other shishas?
For the Edition 4 AEON have developed a new blow-off valve that guides the smoke upwards along the smoke column. This system also works if you attach other smoke columns to the Edition 4 (e.g. with the optional "Base Adapter"). AEON also offer other smoke columns that are compatible with Edition 4 and the position of the exhaust valve can be changed. The entire technology of the blow-off valve is elegantly hidden in the base and is hardly visible from the outside. The base has a 29/2 cut, which means you can customize the Edition 4 according to your wishes. For example, other smoke columns with a 29/2 cut fit easily into the base and you can adjust the appearance of your shisha at any time. The column of smoke that is included with Edition 4, is first inserted into the 29/2 cut of the base and then screwed to the immersion tube with M14x1 thread. Since the smoke column has an 18/8 cut at the top, you can have one too attach molasses catcher or other components with 18/8 cut and adjust the height of the Edition 4 according to your wishes.

How does the Edition 4 Lounge differ from the other Edition 4 variants?
The Edition 4 Lounge is specially designed for use in shisha bars. Few components, a simple structure but a modern, simple design with a beautiful blow-out valve (as with the other Edition 4 variants) ensure that the Edition 4 Lounge is a real eye-catcher in every shisha lounge. On a diffuserwas omitted here because you like to hear the “bubbling” of the shisha in shisha bars. However, a suitable diffuser for the Edition 4 is optionally available and can be attached to the immersion tube of the Edition 4 Lounge without any problems. The smoke column consists of one part and is let into the base with a 29/2 cut and then screwed tightly to the immersion tube, so that the Edition 4 Lounge could also be carried on the entire smoke column. There is an 18/8 cut under the plate so that the carbon plate can be easily removed, for example to change the head. Molasses catchers could also be attached as required. A shorter dip tube could also be attached for the Edition 4, the dip tubes of the different variants are compatible with each other.
